Nelson, Navy, Nation 1688-1815

Nelson, Navy, Nation is a new permanent gallery at the National Maritime Museum that looks at the relationship between the Royal Navy and the British people during the long 18th century (1688–1815). As well as exploring what life was like aboard ship, it also investigates how the navy and its sailors were perceived at home. It is an excellent new addition to the museum that showcases some stunning artefacts.

Neptune's Globe
