Joachim in London, presented by Peter Sheppard Skaerved with the Kreutzer Quartet, Supported by the Friends of the Horniman

Internationally acclaimed violinist and scholar Peter Sheppard Skaerved has put together a unique programme that brings together a Stradivari violin made in 1698 with music by its celebrated former owner,the compers and musician Joseph Joachim. This concert recreates the type of chamber evening which Joachim himself gave on his many visits to London.
