Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker

Peter Schaufuss' re-imagining of the classic ballet. Based on Hoffmann's fairy story, The Nutcracker premiered in 1892. Nutcracker together with the other two ballets can be interpreted as three dreams: one a nightmare, one a sensual experience, and one a happy dream.

Now Danish dance legend Peter Schaufuss presents The Tchaikovsky Trilogy, his own take on three of the world’s best loved ballets, and writes a whole new page in the UK's theatrical history. Rivalling Wagner's operatic Ring Cycle, Schaufuss brings his Award winning dance epic for the first time to the London Coliseum this summer from 23-28 July....
