LMP’s season finale features two iconic masterpieces from Beethoven, that gives the
spotlight to the last of the concerti in LMP’s season-long celebration of the violin. LMP is
delighted to be joined by pre-eminent British violinist Anthony Marwood, praised for his
‘exquisitely controlled tenderness and musicianship’ (The Spectator), who performs one
of the most beautiful and celebrated violin concertos in the repertoire. Beethoven’s everpopular, rousing Fifth Symphony completes this special programme conducted by LMP’s
Music Director Gérard Korsten.
